Why we exist
Most school software is built for large public districts or well-funded private schools. Everyone else — the heritage academy, the weekend language school, the small faith school run by people wearing five hats — is left choosing between a fragile WordPress build that needs constant babysitting and an enterprise platform that costs thousands a month for features they'll never use. SchoolsNest exists to close that gap: real, professional infrastructure, priced and shaped for schools of every size, without the enterprise overhead.
Who it's for
Islamic schools, Hebrew schools, Christian academies, language-immersion programs, weekend cultural schools, K-12 day schools — any school with a clear identity and a need for software that respects it. If your school has more heart than headcount and you're tired of stitching tools together, this was built with you in mind.
One platform, not ten tabs
We believe a school shouldn't need a website builder, a payments tool, a spreadsheet for lunch, a separate system for tuition, and a group chat for parents — each one a login, a bill, and a thing that breaks. SchoolsNest is one platform where it all lives together and all talks to each other: your website, your shop, lunch ordering, tuition and payments, lessons and grading, parent messaging, staff vetting, your branding, and your own domain. One family, one profile, across every part of your school.
How we build
We ship fast, and we build what schools actually tell us they need — not features for the sake of a longer list. Everything is priced honestly: a flat monthly plan, no setup fee, no per-student surcharge. When we get something wrong, we fix it. That's the whole philosophy.
Our first school
Afghan Academy School in Alexandria, Virginia is our founding customer — a non-profit K-9 Islamic school that has served the Afghan-American community since 1992. Their entire school, from the public website to tuition, runs on SchoolsNest. Everything we build, we build for schools like theirs.
